New Programs Starting
           
This program uses martial arts and Brain Gym exercises to help the students improve both physically as well as socially.
We play games, use Brain Gym exercises and martial movement for confidence as well as body control. Classes help develop
balance and large muscles groups. Classes are taught by Black Belt instructors who have extensive teaching experience with
Special Ed Students. Class size is limited to only 7students pre class.

Our program is designed to focus on Movement and Social Development.
Some types of movement have been shown to help students with autism. We have been teaching students
with autism & hyperactivity for more than 20 yrs. in West Boylston. This program will help your child with
social behaviors as well as help them to gain confidence.

The staff at New Horizon Karate headed by Shihan Jim Alty has extensive
experience working with children and adults with special needs.
Students with visual, auditory and physically challenges are welcome as well as students with learning, social, or emotional challenges. 
Students with Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, as well as many other conditions can improve through the martial arts and the right kind of teaching. New Horizon Karate uses the Brain Gym concepts to help student to develop.
Shihan Alty has more than 30 years experience teaching student with a variety of special circumstances. He has been teaching in West Boylston for a quarter of a century.
