Our Children's Karate Program

In our children's program all students are grouped by age, size, maturity and belt ranks. Students develop at their own pace. We do not give belts based on attendance. Personal Development, Fun, Self Defense are taught in a safe and exciting manner. The child learns to be a success by their own work. We are always here to help parents and students to reach their full potential. Success is earned not given. Your child will see their success because of our success based program. Kicking, punching, blocking are only part of karate. In order for a child or anyone to feel confident they need to count on themselves. We teach and help them do that. When a student earns a belt here they really earned it. None of that FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT stuff. In the real world some things can't be faked, SELF DEFENSE is one of those things.

Adult and Teen JuJitsu Program

JuJitsu has many spellings. It is a Japanese martial art used in close combat for defeating an armed opponent. JuJitsu can be translated to mean gentle art. JuJitsu manipulates the opponent's force against himself and avoids directly confronting it with your own force. Jujutsu evolved among the samurai of feudal Japan. It teaches ways to neutralizing an enemy by pins, joint locks, and throws.

Autism, ADD, ADHD Program

Martial Arts movements improve balance, focus, concentration, as well as a greater awareness of surroundings and people. We combine safe non offensive movement from the martial arts and brain gym type exercises in order to help the child gain confidence, improve in social interaction, as well as improve muscle control and strength.

Much new literature has been written about the value of exercises on the brain and overall sense of well being. The martial arts has been teaching people of all types to improve in everything from controlling anger, improving focus, concentration, plus the many physical and health benefits of controlled movement.  Physical development of strength, balance, and coordination will help in all aspects of the child development. This will improve confidence and self esteem. The students will learn to have a positive attitude and expect to succeed. Breath control and focus exercises will help with emotional swings and interpersonal relationships.
